Lions Fall to Bridgeport in CACC Doubleheader

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – April 18, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team dropped a CACC doubleheader to Bridgeport on Saturday, falling 3-7 in game one and 0-3 in game two.

Game 1 – Lincoln (PA) 3, Bridgeport 7

Lincoln stayed competitive early but a big fifth inning proved to be the difference.

The Lions recorded five hits and generated traffic on the bases with multiple walks. Lincoln pushed across three runs but was unable to recover after Bridgeport's six-run inning in the middle frames.

Game 2 – Lincoln (PA) 0, Bridgeport 3

In game two, Lincoln was held to one hit in a 3-0 loss.

Bridgeport scored its runs in the second and third innings, while the Lions were unable to break through offensively.

Lincoln worked counts and reached base but could not capitalize on scoring opportunities.
