LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – March 30, 2026 -  Lincoln University (PA) Head Women's Soccer Coach Sal Minor has been named Associate Head Coach of Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women ahead of the club's return to competition in the UPSL Women League for the Spring 2026 season.

Minor will take on the role in a summer capacity while continuing to lead the Lincoln University (PA) women's soccer program. Since his arrival, he has guided a strong resurgence for the Lions, highlighted by the program's first victory since 2019, its first-ever 2-0 start, and a result against Division I opponent Delaware State during the 2024-25 campaign.
A proven leader with experience across youth, high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels, Minor also brings familiarity with Philadelphia Lone Star FC, having previously served as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach with the club's first team.

In his new role, Minor will work alongside Head Coach Samuel Cole in helping lead the program during a pivotal relaunch, further strengthening his impact within the game during the offseason.
Minor's appointment continues to highlight the caliber of leadership within Lincoln University (PA) Athletics, as coaches across the department are recognized for their expertise and contributions beyond the collegiate level.
