Kamani Johns Represents Lincoln at NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Pueblo, Colo. – May 28, 2025 – Senior sprinter Kamani Johns (Chester, Pa./Chester) capped off a stellar season by competing in the 400 meters at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Colorado State University Pueblo's Thunderbowl.

Johns, a standout for the Lincoln University (Pa.) track and field program, entered the championships ranked #14 nationally in the 400 meters. She ran a 54.98 in the preliminary round, representing the Blue and Orange on the sport's biggest Division II stage. Johns' appearance marked a milestone for Lincoln's track and field program, showcasing the continued progress of the team on the national scene.

Johns, who was recently named Lincoln's Female Athlete of the Year, has been a leader for the Lions throughout her career, balancing excellence on the track with academic success. Her season included a standout performance at the CIAA Outdoor Championships, where she captured the 400m conference title.
