LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA. – April 28, 2025 – The Lincoln University (Pa.) baseball team honored its senior class this weekend, celebrating the careers of
Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston),
Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek),
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School), and
Dwayne Davis (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Lions hosted Holy Family for Senior Day on Saturday before traveling to Philadelphia for a doubleheader on Sunday to close the series.
Senior Day - Game 1 (April 26)
Lincoln honored its seniors before taking the field against Holy Family. The Lions jumped out to an early 4-1 lead behind a two-run single from
Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston) and an RBI groundout from
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School). Holy Family, however, rallied to take the game 8-4.
Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek) reached base and scored a run, while
Dwayne Davis (Upper Marlboro, MD) pitched three innings of strong relief to keep Lincoln in the game late.
The pregame ceremony spotlighted the leadership and commitment of the senior class, who have made lasting contributions to the program both on and off the field.
Game 2 - Sunday Opener (April 27)
The Lions showed resilience in Sunday's opener in Philadelphia but fell 7-5 after a tight battle.
Kieth Gardner launched a two-run home run in the fourth inning, and
Kenneth Gaskins III added a three-run homer in the seventh to give Lincoln a late lead.
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) doubled and scored twice, and
Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston) tripled to ignite the offense.
Starter
Jadyn Greenidge delivered seven competitive innings on the mound, and
Paul Santos appeared in relief.
Game 3 - Sunday Finale (April 27)
In the second game, Lincoln again took an early 4-3 lead thanks to a huge performance from
Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek), who went 3-for-3 with a stolen base.
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) finished a strong weekend with two more hits, while
Jaleel Greenidge and
K drove in runs to keep the offense rolling. Despite their efforts, Holy Family pulled ahead in the late innings to earn a 5-4 win.
Dwayne Davis (Upper Marlboro, MD) contributed in the field during the hard-fought series finale.
The Lions will play Post University on Tuesday April 29th so wrap up the regular season for the 2024-25 academic year.
