Petersburg, VA - March 31st, 2025, - The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team went on the road this past weekend and played a doubleheader on Saturday, and another game on Sunday. All three games were against Virginia State. The Lions lost both games of the doubleheader, with a final score of 3-4 in game one, and 4-5 in game two. On Sunday, the Lions used their losses as motivation and won with a final score of 18-8.

DH Game One
The Lions lost the game 3-4, but they almost pulled off the comeback. The offense started in the 7
th inning, with
Scott Renk (Pottstown, PA/Spring-Ford HS) hitting a RBI single to get the Lions on the board.
Bryce McNeil reached on base by a fielder's choice, with
Sean Stoney (Rosedale, NY/Archbishop Molloy HS) scoring.
Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) hit a RBI Double to advance
Bryce Mcneil (Upper Marlboro, MD/Riverdale Baptist) home.

DH Game Two
The Lions lost the second game 4-5, but they were able to have great 4
th inning.
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) hit a three-run double and
Keith Gardner (Franklinton, NC/South Granville HS) hit an RBI single.
Isaiah Negron (Merion Station, PA/Lower Merion HS) pitched four innings, striking out four and giving up two hits.
Pedro Santos (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) came into relief, pitching 2.1 innings with two strikeouts on six hits.

Sunday Funday
The Lions' offense exploded on Sunday, putting up 18 runs in their win against Virginia State.
Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) had three hits for the day with three RBI's,
Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) also had three hits with an RBI.
Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek) had two hits with two RBI's.
Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston) only had one hit, but had three walks, showing his great plate discipline.
Bryce McNeil had two hits with two RBI's.
