Lincoln University, PA – March 17, 2025 – The Lincoln University (PA) baseball team struggled at home against Jefferson, dropping both games of their doubleheader against them with a score of 4-15 in game one and 1-6 in game two.
Game 1
Jefferson's bunting offense was overwhelming for Lincoln.
Scott Renk (Pottstown, PA/Spring-Ford HS) and
Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) both crushed their home runs, providing offense for the Lions.
Sean Stoney (Rosedale, NY/Archbishop Molloy HS),
Miguel Agramonte (Fallston, Md./Fallston),
Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan), and
Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) all provided a hit as well.
Game 2
Lincoln kept the game very close in game two, thanks to a great outing by
Dennis Flores (Manchester, CT). Flores pitched six innings, on six hits, one run and six strikeouts. The only run of the game came from a moonshot by
Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) to left field.
The Lions will look to bounce back on Tuesday, March 18, when they host Felician for a doubleheader at Lincoln University, Pa. The first game is set for 1 p.m., with Game 2 following at 3 p.m.
