Lincoln University, Pa. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) baseball team earned a dominant shutout win in Game 1 but fell in Game 2 as they split their home doubleheader against Mansfield on Tuesday.
Game 1
The Lions put together a complete performance, blanking Mansfield 7-0 behind a stellar outing from starting pitcher Jaden Randolph (Baltimore, Md./City). Lincoln's offense came alive, led by Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan), who crushed a home run and drove in four runs. Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) added another homer, driving in two, while Keith Gardner (Franklinton, NC/South Granville HS) went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with a double. The Lions' pitching staff held Mansfield in check, securing their first shutout of the season.
Game 2
Mansfield responded in the second game, exploding for 16 runs as the Lions fell 16-5.Despite the tough result, Lincoln continued to battle, putting runs on the board but struggling to contain Mansfield's offense.

The Lions now turn their focus to their upcoming series against Jefferson. Lincoln will play on the road Friday, March 14, with games at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., before returning home on Saturday, March 15, for another doubleheader at the same times.
