Oxford, Pa. – Dec. 21, 2025 – Lincoln University men's basketball brought the holiday energy back home as the Lions defended the Den against Livingstone College, pulling away in the second half for a 73–63 victory. After a tightly contested opening half, Lincoln found its rhythm after the break, using defensive intensity and bench production to secure the win. With the victory, the Lions improve to 5–7 on the season and head into the new year with momentum.
Bonard (BJ) Johnson Jr. (Long Beach, CA) continued his strong stretch of play, leading the Lions with 19 points while filling up the stat sheet with 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. His activity on both ends of the floor helped ignite Lincoln's second-half surge.
Defensively, Ginuwine Tropnas (Montreal, QC) was once again a dominant force in the paint, posting a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while adding 5 blocks, 3 steals, and an assist. Amadou Fall (Bronx, NY) further strengthened Lincoln's interior presence, contributing 10 points, 2 rebounds, and an impressive 5 blocks to anchor the defense.
Lincoln's depth proved to be a decisive factor, as the Lions' bench outscored Livingstone 52–25, providing consistent energy and scoring throughout the game. The Lions also controlled the paint, holding a 38–22 advantage inside, which helped wear down the visitors in the second half.
