Bloomsburg, PA — November 25, 2025 –The Lincoln University women's basketball team dropped its Tuesday road matchup at Bloomsburg, falling 71–41 at E.H. Nelson Fieldhouse in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
Kaziah Akinniyi (Baltimore, Md./Poly) led the Lions with 12 points, knocking down a pair of threes and providing a steady scoring presence throughout the night. Anyia Gibson (Edgewood, MD/) added 8 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting performance, while Riley Holliday (Baltimore, MD/) grabbed a team-high eight rebounds to anchor Lincoln on the glass.
Despite a strong effort on the boards with 37 total rebounds and 13 offensive—the Lions struggled to convert consistently, shooting 13-for-56 from the field. Lincoln forced 17 turnovers and picked up nine steals, but Bloomsburg's efficiency from beyond the arc (10 made threes) created separation early.
Lincoln put together its strongest frame in the fourth quarter, posting 17 points behind improved ball movement and attacking the paint, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.
