Despite their valiant efforts, the Lions fell just short, with a final score of 97-93 in favor of the Golden Knights. This matchup was pivotal for both teams, who were initially predicted to finish 7th in their respective conference divisions, the CIAA for Lincoln and the PSAC for Gannon.
