Rutherford, NJ - November 14, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) men's basketball team fell to Felician University with a final score of 80-71. Despite the loss, the Lions had strong individual performances, especially from Bakir Cleveland (Newark, N.J./University), who led the team with 25 points, including 16 of 19 from the free-throw line. Ethan Garita (Trenton, N.J./Princeton Day School) added 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds, while Peter Sorber (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) contributed with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
The Lions displayed a solid defensive effort, collecting five steals, with Reggie Hudson (Bronx, N.Y./St. Raymond's) leading in assists and maintaining control on the floor. Lincoln's bench provided additional support, putting up 14 points in a closely contested game that saw six lead changes and several tied scores.
The Lions, now holding a 1-2Â record, will return to action on November 19, 2024, as they face California University of Pennsylvania on the road. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., giving the team another opportunity to showcase their strengths and refine their strategies.
