Elizabeth City, NC, October 10, 2024 - The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team fell to Elizabeth City State in three sets with a final set score of 14-25,22-25,16-25.

The Lions fought hard in their matchup with the Vikings as the score was close through the first two sets. The Lions were able to go on a 5-point run in the middle of the second set but were unable to carry that momentum into the final moments.

The team was led by
Kendra Williams (Dover, Del./Dover) in kills (9) and
Elise Carter (Smyrna, DE/Smyrna HS) (9) the Freshman and Junior continue to lead the Lions in kills adding onto both their totals for the season.

On defense
Mariah Webster (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech/) led the team in digs with 17 which is a season high for Webster.

The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball team will be at home on October 14, 2024 for their DIG PINK game against Virginia Union University starting at 6 p.m.
