Lincoln University sophomore, Tia Brown (Newark, N.Y./Newark) participated in Minority Softball Prospect's first ever HBCU All-Star Game on June 2, 2023. 

The All-Star Game featured 40 of the best HBCU Softball players from across the country. Players represented NCAA Division I and Division II schools, as well as NAIA schools. 

A pitcher from Newark, New York, Brown is the first Lincoln University Softball player to ever participate in a post-season All-Star game.

"Tia is a hard worker that is starting to see her efforts and dedication pay off. Her selection to the HBCU All-Star game was well deserved as she has continued to be a solid leader for us this season," said Coach Waddell of the All-CIAA selection.
