- Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) logged three hits, scored a run, and drove home the lone RBI of game one with a sacrifice fly to score Josh Shepherd (Bowie, Md./Bowie), who had tripled just two batters prior.
Â
- Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) had one single apiece as he improved his hitting streak to a modest five in-a-row.
Â
- Damaal Sands (Nassau, Bahamas/Monteverde Academy) and Alex Jones (Bear, Del./Appoquinimink), while both juniors, are slated to run it back one more time, went 4-for-7 (.571) with a pair of scores plus a ribbie between them.
Â
- Freshman Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter) tacked on his first triple as a collegian and nearly an inside-the-park home run, but he had to settle for the three-bagger that drove in Sands and Jones after a perfect relay gunned him down at the dish.
