POMONA, N.Y. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania baseball program can now be able to say it has beaten one of the ECC's top programs on the diamond, scoring seven runs in the final two innings to win game one over St. Thomas Aquinas, 8-4, after losing its first 11 matchups in the series.
The Lions had a setback in the series finale, dropping that one in seven, 4-2.

Lincoln used its speed to their advantage, stealing five bases in the triumph; two from Bryce Oliver (Williamstown, N.J./St. Augustine's Prep) and Josiah Bowles (Plant City, Fla./Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy) plus one by Alex Jones (Bear, Del./Appoquinimink).

Starting pitchers Darrion Williams (East Hartford, Conn./East Hartford) and Josiah Bowles (Plant City, Fla./Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy) had similar outings, both hurling six innings while allowing two earned runs as the former struck out two in a no-decision and the latter K'ed four during a complete game loss.
