LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania track and field program saw one member of each team get rewarded for its efforts at the Seahawk Invitational this past weekend as
Irvin Marable (Somers Point, N.J./Pleasantville) and
Anaeja Ferrell (Newark, Del./St. Georges) received Men's Track and Women's Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Marable, a freshman long distance runner, set a new personal-record during the 800m with a time of 1:58.20 to win the gold inside Jamie L. Roberts Stadium.

Ferrell, a freshman jumper, was a first-place finisher in both a field and a track event on Saturday, leaping a personal-best distance of 5.34m on top of helping the 4x100m relay team cross the line in the quickest speed at 48.97 on the campus of St. Mary's College of Maryland.
