LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania track and field program claimed three of the conference's four weekly accolades for their outstanding showings at the Charleston Southern Buccaneer Invitational this past weekend.

Glenn Butler, Jr. (Greenburgh, N.Y./White Plains), a senior from Greenburgh, New York, has only competed in one field event and he has already punched his ticket to nationals in Pueblo, Colorado, leaping a gold-medal worthy distance of 7.49m in the long jump while also making a respectable appearance in the 100m dash with a time of 10.68 to place fifth.

Jayden Rodriguez (Hillside, N.J./North Star Academy), a freshman from Hillside, New Jersey, came in first place during the 110m hurdles, sprinting for a time of 14.66 seconds to go along with a sixth-place outing of 1:07.75 for the 400 hurdles.

Aisha Carrington (Baltimore, Md./Franklin), a sophomore from Baltimore, Maryland, was one of two individual females to win the gold last Saturday, joining Olivia Wright (Winslow Twp., N.J/Winslow Twp.) in the triple jump (11.24m) by blazing a path over 14.33 seconds.

Butler, Rodriguez, and Carrington along with the rest of the crew will next be seen down in St. Mary's City, Maryland for the Seahawk Invitational on April 1.
