Lincoln (PA) Top Performers:
Â
- Wesley Hogan (Washington, D.C./The Maret School) had the game of his life in the back half of the twin bill, cranking a three-run home run over the left field wall to open the scoring for the Lions in the first. He also walked home a RBI in the same nine-run first frame while slapping an RBI single in the third for a five-RBI day. His final stat line in game two was 2-for-2 with five RBIs, three walks, and a run scored plus the round-tripper.
Â
- Josh Shepherd (Bowie, Md./Bowie) matched Hogan's run driving production, spacing five RBIs out over the doubleheader, going 3-for-5 (.600) for four runs scored, two walks, two stolen bases, a double, and a sacrifice fly.
Â
- Jaden Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) only had one base hit, but it was a solo homer while reaching twice via hit-by-pitch as well and scoring all three times on the bases.
Â
- Bryce Oliver (Williamstown, N.J./St. Augustine's Prep) tried extra hard to steal the spotlight from Hogan in the win, boasting a perfect 4-for-4 showing at the dish with a pair of doubles, scoring four times, driving home three Lions, and walking once.
Â
- Bailey Corley (Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens Sr.) was impressive over the final three innings of the first matchup, surrendering a single run with no walks and a quartet of strikeouts during his Lincoln pitching debut.

- Conner Jones (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield) now has the unique distinction of having both the team's only save on top of one of the squad's two wins as part of the pitching staff.
