ANDERSON, S.C. – The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania baseball program were held to just four hits and two runs over 14 innings of round ball, falling 7-1 in the opener and came out on the wrong end of a 2-1 walk-off loss in the nightcap at Anderson (S.C.).

- Josiah Bowles (Plant City, Fla./Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy) pitched beautifully in game two, nearly going the distance with six frames (out of 6.1) while seceding one run, two walks, and five hits on his way to inducing eight groundouts.

- Pedro Santos (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Catholic) logged half the innings but as good of an outing, allowing a single hit and walk but no scores during the final three innings of game one.

- The Orange and Blue had just eight baserunners all day long and only two of them were repeats.

- Bowles got on courtesy of a single and a walk with the other Lion being Josh Shepherd (Bowie, Md./Bowie) via a base knock plus a hit-by-pitch.

- The team's two RBIs came off the metal sticks of Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek) on a slow roller to first in the first contest and a Jefry Azcona (Trenton, N.J./Trenton Central) four-to-three groundout in the second.
