Lincoln (PA) Top Performers:

  • Jalen Greenidge (Richmond, Va./Monacan) would not be denied in game one, going 3-for-3 with a double, walk, and RBI while DeAndre Bowens (Rock Hill, N.Y./Monticello) was the offensive catalyst in the second contest as the only Lion with multiple hits (2) and RBIs (2) plus a base on balls with a two-bagger thrown in.

  • Bowens was not shut out in the opener neither, lacing an RBI double as well.

  • Josh Sheperd tied both Greenidge and Bowens for the team's hit lead on the afternoon, ultimately hitting .500 (3-for-6) with a pair of runs scored plus a base stolen.

  • Alex Jones (Bear, Del./Appoquinimink) and Solomon Devard (Bear, Del./MOT Charter) both crushed RBI doubles with Devard's being of the pinch-hit variety while catcher Sebastian Iguaran (Port Orange, Fla./Spruce Creek) went 2-of-2 on steal attempts.

  • Conner Jones (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield) was the only pitcher to see his ERA go down, tossing 28 pitches to get four outs without an earned run scored.
