The Lincoln University volleyball team travels to Winston-Salem, N.C. for the first Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Round-up of the season. The Lions will play twice on Saturday and once Sunday
TEAMS: Lincoln comes into the match looking for its first win of the season.
After starting the season, 0-5, Saint Augustine's has won a pair of CIAA matches, beating Johnson C. Smith in straight sets and knocking off Winston-Salem State, 3-1. Fayetteville State is 6-2 overall, and unbeaten (2-0) in the CIAA.
Livingstone opened the season with a pair of wins against Morris College, and has dropped its first two CIAA contests.

PLAYERS: The duo of junior Kaiya Lewis (Queens, N.Y./Queens Preparatory Academy) and freshman Haley Loper (Middletown, Del./St. Georges Technical) are leading offensive forces for the Lions, combining for 65 kills on the season. Loper leads the team with 36 kills, while Lewis has posted a team-high .139 hitting percentage. Lewis also has a team-high 19 blocks.
Freshman
Jaida Lumpkin (Middletown, Del./Middletown) leads the team with 59 assists and 10 services aces, and is second on the team with 34 digs. Freshman
Mariah Webster (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) has a team-high 50 digs.
SERIES HISTORY: Lincoln won its previous meeting with Saint Augustine's, 3-1, in 2019, but that was the lone victory in 11 matches.
The Lions are 0-11 all-time against Fayetteville State and 1-11 all-time against Livingstone.
