Box Score The Lincoln University women's volleyball team dropped their second consecutive match Thursday evening, losing to Wesley College 3-0 in Dover, Delaware.
Wesley won the first set 25-11 and the second 25-17 before closing out the match with a 25-11 set three win. The Lions fall to 5-17 with the loss. Wesley improves to 11-14.
Mariah Russell (St. Louis, MO/Maplewood Richmond Heights HS) led Lincoln with five kills and
Shanna King (Newark, NJ/University High School) dished out 12 assists setting the LU offense.
Gecinda Turner (West Philadelphia, PA/Academy Park) had a pair of service aces. On the defensive side,
Atarah Lindsey (Detroit, MI/Romulus High School) led the Lions with a match-high 10 digs and also added two blocks.
Tionne Graves-Brown led Wesley with 10 kills.
