MIAMI, Fl. - Senior defensive lineman Hosea Crooms (Daytona Beach, FL/Atlantic HS) will play on the Navy Team wearing jersey #91 at the 2014 FCS Bowl on Sunday, December 7, 2014 on the campus of Florida International University.
 
Hosea Crooms (Daytona Beach, FL/Atlantic HS) played in 36 games as a Lincoln Lion during his collegiate career. He posted a season-best 21 tackles as a sophomore in 2012 and tallied 19 tackles as a senior in 2014. At defensive tackle he recorded six tackles against Bowie State (11/1/14) and recovered a fumble against Virginia Union (10/25/14). The "FCS National Bowl" or "FBS Bowl" for short is an annual post-season college football all-star game consisting of the top seniors from college football Championship Subdivision (FCS) colleges and some traditional HBCU's and select elite Non-FCS schools. The inaugural FCS Bowl will be played at 2pm on Sunday  December, 7 2014 on the campus of Florida International University's Ocean Bank Field at FIU Stadium following the 5th annual National Bowl Game consisting of the top D2,D3 players capping off a double header weekend. The first 4 years the National Bowl has gained national success and be considered the top all star weekend for Non-FBS schools and been the only game of its kind to attract numerous NFL & CFL scouts consistently. The Inaugural FCS National Bowl will become the only FCS level all star game that will feature a number of pro scouts due to it's nexxus with what an NFL  National Bowl Game.

Players travel to the FCS Bowl from as far as Utah,Texas, North Dakota, and Rhode Island. The FCS National Bowl and National Bowl Game are presented by East Preps LLC and founded by its owner Michael Quartey Esq., a former NFL Certified Sports Agent.

The rosters gives NFL/CFL scouts a chance to view and get to know some of the best players from smaller schools over the bowl weekend. The FCS National Bowl is coached by pro coaches and features coaches such as NFL Coach Mike Stock formerly of the Green Bay Packers, and pro arena coach Chris Thompson of the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks of the PIFL.who is set to return and coach the FCS Bowl for the 2014 game in Miami, FL. The game has scouts confirmed from the Miami Dolphins, St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, and 5 Canadian Football League (CFL) teams will be in attendance. 10 AFL and arean teams will also be in attendance such as the Tampa Bay Storm, Jacksonville Sharks, and New Orlenas Voodoo making it the top Scouting weekend for FCS college seniors. With its location in at FIU in Miami, the bowl weekend continues to gain scouts attention with great Decemeber sunny Florida Weater. All 32 NFL teams receive and review the FCS Bowl film as the game and practice film are also exclusively distributed directly to all NFL teams by NFL Films.
