PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Lions rolled to their third consecutive victory led by Alonzo Murphy (Pittsburgh, PA/California University (PA))'s 17 points and season-high 12 rebounds in a 61-49 road win against Pace University on Thursday, December 18^th.

Lincoln's defense held Pace to only 14 made field goals in their third road victory of the season. The Lions also held a 40-24 rebounding advantage led by senior Alonzo Murphy (Pittsburgh, PA/California University (PA)). Murphy finished with a season-high 12 rebounds and 17 points on 6-of-7 made field goals. Sophomore Joshua Davis (Saginaw, MI/Louisburg Junior College) was the other Lion to reach double figure scoring with 10 points leading the bench to go along with eight rebounds. Davis was a force defensively recording two blocked shots.

Winning the battle in the paint (36-16) and bench points (32-4), Lincoln led the entire second half against Pace. Freshman Quaman Burton (Richmond, VA/John Marshall HS) added nine points and converted on 7-of 8 free-throws while junior Chaz Sharp (Baltimore, MD/Xavier University of Louisiana) dished out a game-high four assists, three steals, and scored seven points. Senior Demetrius Johnson (Baltimore, MD/Milford Mill HS) made a pair of three-pointers and senior Tony Efese (Spring Valley, NY/St. Joseph Regional HS) had eight points and six rebounds in the victory.

The Lions (6-4) have won three games in a row and are undefeated on the road at 3-0.  Lincoln will play their final game of the 2014 portion of their season on Sunday, December 21^st at 3 p.m. at Mansfield University.
