LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University softball team begins the 2013 season on Saturday at the Shaw University Softball Challenge in Raleigh, N.C., at Walnut Creek Softball Complex.
The Lady Lions, under the direction of second-year coach
Amber Sneed, open the season with three games -- all against CIAA opponets -- at the challenge, starting with an 11 a.m., contest against host Shaw. Lincoln concludes action on Saturday against Saint Augustine's at 1 p.m. The Lady Lions wrap up the weekend on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m., against Fayetteville State.
Lincoln endures its first 18 games on the road before a 10-game home stand at the brand new Outdoor Sports Complex on campus. The Lady Lions' first home doubleheader is 2:30 p.m., March 26 against Millersville University.
