Box Score LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa.  — The Lincoln University volleyball team lost a thrilling, 3-0, CIAA Northern Division match on Monday night to Chowan with scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-8 at Manuel Rivero Gymnasium.
 
Cynthia Johnson (Randallstown, MD/Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) led the way for Lincoln (0-3 overall, 0-2 CIAA North, 0-2 CIAA) with four kills, while Sharay DuBose (Salisbury, Md./Parkside HS) added three kills and six assists. Erica McClain (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett HS) finished with five assists. Erika Bell (Owings Mills, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute HS) paced the Lady Lions defensively with five digs, while Johnson and Sydney Cook (Portland, OR/Cleveland HS) each had four digs.
 
Lincoln returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 15 as the Lady Lions play host to the CIAA Round-up. Lincoln will meet Fayetteville State at 11 a.m., and Shaw at 1 p.m., on Saturday. The Lady Lions conclude CIAA Round-up play 9 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 16 against Saint Augustine's.
