Kyle Edwards (Bloomfield, CT/Bloomfield HS) paced the Lions by capturing first in 17 minutes, 13 seconds.
Federico Ghelli (Rome, Italy/Liceo Mons. Tozzi) took second in 17:41, while
Wilson Bailey (Englewood, NJ/Dwight Morrow HS) placed third in 17:46.

Dashon Jones (Easton, PA/Easton Area HS) were sixth and eighth, respectively, in 21:05 and 21:36.
Lions head coach Rafeal "Ray" Williams said the men were successful because they were able to work together as a unit. He was very excited about the performance of his second-year runner Ghelli, whose primary sport was soccer.
“He is really learning the fundamental science of distance running,” Williams said. “He is a very intelligent student-athete. He had a great finish last year in track and we are expecting great things from him this year.”
Lincoln's next meet is Saturday, Sept. 8 in Wilmington, Del., at the University of Wilmington Invitational.
