WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Playing with just nine players, the Lincoln University men's soccer team concluded play at the West Chester Classic on Sunday with a 9-0 loss to California (Pa.) in the consolation game.
The Vulcans (2-0-1) led 7-0 at the half and picked up a pair of goals in the second half for the win.
Adedotun Osho recorded six saves in goal for Lincoln (0-2), while Charlie Dagnal had one for California.
The Vulcans had a slight advantage in corner kicks, 3-2, and out-shot the Lions, 22-5.
Lincoln returns to action at noon on Thursday, Sept. 8 at Felician College.
