PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 29, 2011) —
Running its first 4x200-meter relay of the season, the group of Kristina Rembert (Bronx, NY/Cathedral), Kimberly Nurse (Newark, DE/Hodgson Vo-Tech), Taylor Lyons (Oakland, Calif./Holy Names HS) and Fatima Ross (Philadelphia, Pa./Williamstown HS)  ran a time of 1:50.15 in the second day of the 117th running of the Penn Relays on Friday.

The race brought an end to Rembert's career, who rose from a former club track runner in high school to this year's team MVP and Lincoln's Female Athlete of the Year. She battled back from an illness that sidelined her yesterday in the 4x400-meter relay to give it one last go in her final collegiate Penn Relays.

"She gave it a valiant effort, and that's all I can ask for," head coach Ray Williams said. "She battled through whatever it was that was bothering her to be there for the team. I'm proud of her."

The time placed LU 56th of 59 schools in the race that spanned seven heats.
