Bowling eager to challenge CIAA at championships

Tamia Davis and the Lady Lions will look to log' Lincoln's first Div. II CIAA championship.
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. (March 17, 2011) — Heading into this weekend's conference championships in Durham, N.C., the Lady Lions bowling team feel good about their chances to shock the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Associaiton.

As has been the case all season, much of the conference has not given
Lincoln much of a chance in any sport. But with their last showing in Richmond, VA the Lady Lions showed just a taste of what they could be in this conference.

With the addition of Chantel Hamilton, the steady leadership of Tamia Davis (Pittsburgh, Pa./City Charter HS), the consistent play from True freshman Sarah Danaher (Waitsfield, Vt./Harwood Union HS), the vast improvement from LaToya Cottingham, the Lady Lions look to have a promising present and bright future.  Also not to be forgotten is Dion'Jalen Buie and Shalisa Bethea (Newark, N.J./Saint Vincent Academy), as they have also contributed some big games all season.
Cottingham bowled her highest game this season, a 145 last weekend.

“Since joining the team, I believe that we are on the right path to something special here," Hamilton said. "I think that we will be very successful this weekend and bring home some more victories to finish our season positive.”
