Box Score
LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. — Players and coaches agreed that Chestnut Hill provided the top talent on the 2010 schedule, and although the Lions, lost 3-0, the progress was encouraging.
Playing in a miserable mist and rain on an unseasonably chilly night, Lincoln's men soccer team (1-4) persevered and showed an increased ability to play together dispute the difficult circumstances.
The Griffins (7-4) scored just seven minutes in on a strike by Yannick Wallace. Twenty minutes later Bobby Stocklin added insurance. In the second half, a goal by Chestnut Hill two minutes into the period accounted for the only scoring of the period.
Offensively,
Adedotun Lateef Osho (Lagos, Nigeria/Plainfield) recorded three of Lincoln's seven shots.
Andre Wilkinson (St. Michael's, Barbabos/William Grady) continued his tremendous play in net with eight saves, six of which coming in the second half.
