Women's soccer downed by impressive Philadelphia University squad

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Lincoln University women's soccer recorded just one shot in Philadelphia University's 10-0 win Tuesday at Lions Field. Trisha Sileo opened the scoring at 3:49 and would add another shortly after to give Philadelphia University a 2-0 advantage. Kristen McKale would score a hat trick with the final goal coming three minutes into the second half.

Stephanie Anderson (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville Area HS) (Coatesville, Pa.) recorded the lone Lincoln shot, which she kicked while slidding through the box, but her attempt went high. Brittany Johnson (Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) (Glassboro, N.J.) made several stops as she was supported by a defense in the second half that showed much improvement, surrendering just two goals compared to the first half's seven. Johnson had four saves.
