LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — In the third and final day of the CIAA Roundup in Fayetteville, N.C., Lincoln volleyball snapped an eight-match losing streak by defeating Johnson C. Smith University, 26-24,21-25,25-20,25-19.

Nekia Morris (San Bernadino, CA/San Gorgonio) (San Bernardino, Calif.) and Noel Webster (Hagerston, MD/Elkton) (Hagerstown, Md.) combined for 25 kills, but it was the Lady Lion serve that kept JCSU off balance. Lincoln recorded 12 service aces with Charity Hart (Richmond, VA/Highland Springs) (Richmond, Va.) having a team-best four and Morris contributing three.

In the weekend's final match, Augustine cruised, 13-25, 3-25, 8-25. Erika Bell (Owings Mills, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute HS) (Owings Mills, Md.), Morris, Hart and Webster each had two aces.
