KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY, PA. (October 9, 2008) – The Lincoln University Lady Lions volleyball team lost 3-0 against Kutztown University at Keystone Arena on Thursday evening. (BOXSCORE)

For the Lady Lions, senior health science major Donneisha Smith (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) (Milwaukee, WI/Harold S. Vincent) led the team with six kills which brings her season total to 128 averaging almost two kills per game.  Senior music education major Lia Hubbard (Farrell, PA/Farrell) (Farrell, PA/Farrell) added 11 assists in the match bringing her total to almost five assists per game.

Lincoln senior and education major Lindsey Wilson (Aliquippa, PA/Aliquippa) had a solid match as well for Lincoln University recording four kills, two service aces, and six defensive digs. 

For Kutztown University, Brittni Speck led all players with seven total kills and added three digs.  Alex Thomas had a solid game as well with 22 assists and five defensive digs.

The next match for the Lady Lions will be on October 14, 2008 as they travel to Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia for a 6:00pm start.
