BETHPAGE, NY (October 14, 2008) – Kirk Bishop (Georgetown, Guyana/Richard Ishmeal) scored Lincoln's lone goal during a 6-1 defeat to Briarcliffe College Tuesday afternoon. (BOXSCORE TO BE POSTED LATER)

Lincoln's overall record slipped to 5-7 despite seven saves from sophomore goalie Andre Wilkinson (St. Michael's, Barbabos/William Grady). Lincoln finished with five shots. Rahsaan Lisimba (Philadelphia, PA/Penn Wood) had two shots while Adedotun Osho and Rushane Scott (Allentown, PA/William Allen) were credited with shots. 

Briarcliffe scored three goals, including two in the first three minutes of the match, in each half to defeat Lincoln for the second time this season.

The Lions return to action Thursday afternoon when it hosts Valley Forge Christian College beginning at 4:30 p.m.
