Marcus Pettiford

Marcus Pettiford is entering his third season with the Lincoln University football program. He attended North Carolina A&T State University, where he started as an Offensive Lineman during his freshman season. Pettiford played a key role for the Aggies, helping the team win the Black College National Title in the MEAC vs. SWAC Celebration Bowl in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Pettiford graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and began his coaching career at North Carolina A&T, where he served as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach. During his tenure, he helped five offensive linemen earn All-Big South honors in 2022. Pettiford learned from experienced coaches Ron Mattes and Keith Wagner, which has shaped his coaching approach and philosophy.

As he enters his third season at Lincoln, Pettiford is excited to continue developing the offensive line and contributing to the growth and success of the Lions football program.
