Gene Lett Jr.

Gene Lett begins his first season as a full-time assistant for the Lincoln University men's basketball program after spending the last two seasons as Graduate Assistant Coach under Head Coach Doug Overton. 

Lett most recently served as Assistant Athletic Director for Recreational Services, overseeing the operation of Lincoln's Wellness Center as well as the department intramural programs.

He received his Master's Degree from Lincoln University in May 2018.

A 2016 graduate of Cheyney University, Lett was a four-year starting point guard on the Wolves basketball team, playing in 100 career games.  Over the course of his career, Lett scored 448 points and had 184 career assists.  In his senior year he also interned as an as an assistant coach for the Cheyney University women’s basketball team.  He received his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Recreation and Leisure Management in May 2016.

He is a graduate of Randolph Technical High School where he was named to the Philadelphia Daily News All-Public League Team as a fourth team honoree his senior year, averaging 28.2 points per game.  That same year, Lett also set a Randolph school record, scoring 57 points in a single game.
