Biography

2016:  played in one game for Robert Morris University.  Enrolled at Lincoln in spring 2017.
2015: Played in nine games at Robert Morris, starting four…ran 125 times for 456 yards on the season…scored four rushing touchdowns on the year… rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown vs. Bryant on 11/21…posted 61 yards rushing on 11 carries in road finale at Saint Francis on 11/14…scored a touchdown vs. Duquesne on 10/24…ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns at #17 Youngstown State on 9/12...rushed for 72 yards and caught two passes in the season opener against Dayton (9/5).
2014:  Played in the first seven games for Robert Morris, starting six before suffering an injury…carried 128 times for a team-leading 562 rushing yards while adding 44 receiving yards… Compiled 61 rushing yards on just 11 carries in a win over Central Connecticut State on 10/18…rushed for 70 yards at Sacred Heart on 10/11… Rushed 24 times for 154 yards against Monmouth on 10/4… rushed for an RMU rookie record 199 yards and a touchdown in his first start at North Dakota on 9/6… Became the fifth Colonial ever to run for 190+ yards in a game and finished with 237 all-purpose yards against UND…

Honors and Activities: Named National Freshman of the Week by The Sports Network September 8 after his 199 yard rushing performance vs. North Dakota…Believed to be the first Colonial to win that award…also named NEC Offensive Player of the Week and NEC Rookie of the Week after that performance
 
Prior to College:  Four year player at Shaker heights high School, graduating in 2013… As a senior, had 142 carries for 1,223 yards and 14 touchdowns, leading his team to the state playoffs…was also a receiving threat for the Raiders, notching 17 catches for 285 yards and three receiving touchdowns… accumulated 2,264 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career at Shaker Heights…was also a high school all American in track and field, placing ranking seventh in the nation in the 60m. hurdles.
Personal:  Only child of Glenda Sullivan and Curtis Owens…Chose to attend Lincoln for the HBCU experience.
