Vince Connor is entering his second season as the head coach of the Lincoln University (PA) baseball program in 2025-26.
Connor previously served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Lincoln University from 2020 to 2023. During his tenure, the Lions posted several season lows in key pitching categories, including ERA, hits per 9 innings, runs allowed, strikeouts per 9 innings, and walks per 9 innings, all of which were career bests for the program.
Before joining the Lions, Connor spent 14 seasons coaching high school baseball in South Carolina. He coached at five different high schools, including two years as the head coach at Westwood High School. He also served in various roles as head baseball coach at Estill High School, JV head coach at Bamberg Ehrhardt and Colleton County High Schools, and varsity assistant at Cane Bay and Wilson High Schools, where he specialized in coaching the pitching staff. Under his leadership, pitchers consistently posted career bests in ERA, improved velocity, and achieved career lows in walks and runs allowed.
Connor is a graduate of Coker College, where he played two seasons of collegiate baseball before a non-sports injury ended his playing career. A native of Dorchester, South Carolina, he lettered in four sports at St. George High School, where he was an All-Region selection in baseball and a state qualifier in track.
Connor resides in Havre de Grace, Maryland, with his wife, Jamie, and daughters Katherine and Madeline.
