About Chi Alpha Sigma
Honoring Excellence in Academics and Athletics
Chi Alpha Sigma is the nation's premier honor society recognizing collegiate student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. Founded in 1996 by former DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis, Chi Alpha Sigma was established to celebrate student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, in competition, and within their communities.
Membership is reserved for student-athletes who compete at the varsity level and achieve a high standard of academic success while representing their institution. Through local chapters across the country, Chi Alpha Sigma honors those who exemplify leadership, character, citizenship, and a commitment to both educational and athletic achievement.
Chi Alpha Sigma at Lincoln University (PA)
Lincoln University (PA) inducted its inaugural Chi Alpha Sigma class in 2020, welcoming 17 student-athletes into the University's chapter. Since that first induction, 129 Lions student-athletes have earned membership in Chi Alpha Sigma, recognizing their dedication to academic excellence and athletic success while representing the Orange and Blue.
