Biography

2006: Played in a career-high 61 games before suffering a season-ending anterior cruicate ligament tear. Finished with 49 assists, including a career-high seven against Penn College on Sept. 26. Cummings had 73 kills, including two matches with 10 or more (12 vs. Baruch College on Sept. 9 and 10 at SUNY-Old Westbury on Sept. 10). Cummings had a career-high seven serving aces against Penn State-Delaware County on Sept. 7. Had at least three assists in her final six games.
Personal: A Health Science major, Cummings enjoys basketball, shopping and talking on the phone. Her favorite movie is “Love and Basketball” and her favorite television show is “Martin.” She enjoys eating ox-tails and rice, which is her favorite food. She lists “In the Lake of the Woods” as her favorite book. Mother’s name is Francine. Has five siblings: Kamarri, 19, Ricardo, 28, Sherese, 26, Kenisha, 28, and Richard, 28.
