LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The Lincoln University (Pa.) volleyball team continues its early-season road swing Wednesday evening when the Lions travel to Philadelphia for a non-conference matchup against Jefferson.

LIONS CONTINUE EARLY-SEASON ROAD SWING
Lincoln enters Wednesday's contest looking to continue building chemistry and momentum during a challenging non-conference portion of its schedule.

The Lions have faced several regional opponents during the opening weeks of the season, including West Chester, Caldwell, Goldey-Beacom and Jefferson.

Wednesday's match will mark the second meeting between Lincoln and Jefferson this season. The two programs previously met on August 29 as part of the West Chester University Tournament, with Jefferson earning a 3-0 victory.

The rematch gives Lincoln an opportunity to measure its early-season growth while making adjustments from the first meeting.

KEYS TO THE MATCH
For the Lions, establishing consistency from the service line and in serve receive will be important against a Jefferson team that was able to control the first matchup.

Lincoln will also look to generate more opportunities at the net while remaining aggressive defensively and extending rallies. With several matches now under its belt, the Lions will aim to use their developing chemistry and communication to put together a complete performance.
