LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – The Lincoln University (PA) women's volleyball program has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate, two CIAA Volleyball Roundups and several home matches as the Lions prepare for another season under head coach Latifa Raheem.
Lincoln opens the 2026 campaign August 28-29 at the West Chester University Tournament in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The Lions begin the season against host West Chester on Friday, August 28 at 3 p.m. before returning to the court Saturday for matches against Jefferson at 11 a.m. and Caldwell University at 3 p.m.
Following opening weekend, Lincoln hits the road for three consecutive matches. The Lions travel to Caldwell on September 2, Goldey-Beacom College on September 5 and Jefferson on September 9.
The Lions make their first appearance in front of the home crowd on Friday, September 11, when they welcome Cheyney University for a 6 p.m. match. Lincoln then travels to Millersville University on September 15.
CIAA competition begins September 21 when the Lions travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, to take on Shaw University. Lincoln returns home September 24 for a 6 p.m. meeting with Virginia State University before closing the month at Elizabeth City State on September 28.
A major portion of Lincoln's conference schedule comes during the first CIAA Volleyball Roundup, scheduled for October 2-4 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Lions will play six matches over the three-day event, facing Livingstone College and Claflin University on Friday, Winston-Salem State and Fayetteville State on Saturday, and Bluefield State and Johnson C. Smith on Sunday.
Lincoln returns to non-conference competition October 7 at Felician University before hosting Virginia Union University the following night. The Lions then travel to Virginia State on October 12 and Chestnut Hill College on October 14.
The second CIAA Volleyball Roundup will take place October 16-18 in Ettrick, Virginia, where Lincoln will once again see six CIAA opponents. The Lions open against Bluefield State and Claflin on October 16, followed by Livingstone and Fayetteville State on October 17. The weekend concludes October 18 with matches against Winston-Salem State and Johnson C. Smith.
Lincoln enters the final stretch of the regular season with a road contest at Bowie State on October 22 before returning home to host Elizabeth City State on October 26.
The Lions travel to Richmond, Virginia, to face Virginia Union on October 29 before closing the regular season with back-to-back home matches. Lincoln hosts Bowie State on November 2 and welcomes Shaw University for the regular-season finale on Thursday, November 5.
The 2026 schedule gives Lincoln an opportunity to test itself against programs from several conferences while preparing for a competitive CIAA slate. The Lions will compete in 34 matches during the regular season, including 12 matches across the conference's two roundup weekends.
