Lions’ 4x400 Relay Qualifies for NCAA Division II National Championships

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – May 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) men's 4x400-meter relay team has officially qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, continuing a strong outdoor season for the Lions.

The quartet of Sahfi Reed, Devin James (Detroit, MI), Phillip Burney, and Carlo Johnson (Wyndmoor, PA) secured their national qualifying mark earlier this season and have consistently delivered top performances, including NCAA Division II standard times at both the Penn Relays and CIAA Outdoor Championships.

The group has been a key piece of Lincoln's success on the track, showcasing speed, depth, and chemistry throughout the season against high-level competition.

With their qualification, the Lions will now prepare to compete on the national stage against the top programs in Division II.

Lincoln will compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held May 21–23, with the 4x400 relay set to race beginning at 10:00 a.m.
