Mill Spring, NC. – February 16, 2026 – The Lincoln University (PA) men's track & field team delivered an impressive showing at the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships held February 15–16, highlighted by a relay championship, multiple podium finishes, personal records, and several marks ranking among top HBCU and Division II performances.
Freshman standout Devin James (Detroit, MI) led the way on the track, qualifying for finals in both the 60m and 200m. He finished seventh in the 60m (6.98) before placing fourth in the 200m with a time of 21.63, earning five team points while recording marks that rank among top HBCU and Division II times this season. He also helped power Lincoln's 4x400m relay team to a CIAA championship, joining Phillip Burney, Sahfi Reed, and Carlo Johnson (Wyndmoor, PA) to win in 3:14.97 and secure 10 points.
Johnson added another major highlight by finishing runner-up in the 400m final with a personal-best 47.91, earning eight points and posting nationally competitive marks.
In field events and combined events, junior Adam Green (Pottstown, PA/Pottstown) delivered one of the most dominant all-around performances of the meet. He won the pole vault (3.65m), placed fourth in the high jump (1.93m), and recorded top finishes throughout the heptathlon events including first in the high jump and pole vault segments and second in shot put and long jump.
Freshman Kevin Williams (Lansdowne, PA) also impressed in the heptathlon, winning the 1000m portion with a personal-best 2:48.13 and placing among the top competitors in multiple events. Junior Ebenezer Affaine added several scoring performances and personal records of his own.
