Women’s Soccer Travels to Holy Family for Season Finale

10/27/2026 12:30:00 PM

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — The Lincoln University women's soccer team closes its 2026 season Wednesday, October 28, traveling to Philadelphia to face Holy Family University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Tiger Field.

The Lions look to build on a competitive performance against Dominican University of New York in their home finale. Lincoln battled the Chargers to a 1–1 tie late in the second half before an 85th-minute goal decided the 2–1 contest.

Aleisa Clarke (Kingston, Jamaica) provided the offensive highlight for Lincoln, scoring her first goal of the season at the 71:01 mark to erase Dominican's one-goal advantage. The Lions placed all four of their shots on target and limited the Chargers to eight total attempts. Wednesday's matchup offers Lincoln another opportunity to turn that competitive effort into a positive finish.

The finale also marks the last collegiate appearance for Lincoln's senior group of Nevaeh Washington (Philadelphia, PA), Ricyonna Walker (Kingston, Jamaica), Jordan Allison (Baltimore, MD) and Ariel Reyes (Valley Stream, NY), who were recognized during Friday's Senior Day celebration. Their experience will be valuable as the Lions work to maintain defensive organization and create scoring opportunities against the Tigers.

Scouting Holy Family
Holy Family enters Wednesday's contest with a 6–7–1 overall record after defeating Felician, 1–0, on Saturday. The Tigers have earned conference victories over Dominican, Wilmington, Goldey-Beacom, Caldwell and Felician, along with a 2–2 draw against Chestnut Hill.

The Tigers have shown an ability to win close matches, with one-goal victories in three of those conference wins. Lincoln will look to keep the game within reach through disciplined defending while making the most of its chances in the attacking third.
