RALEIGH, N.C. – January 8, 2026 - The Lincoln University Lions dropped a CIAA road game to Shaw University 80-59 on Thursday evening at Spaulding Gym. The loss moves Lincoln to 7-9 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Shaw led 38-25 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for the 21-point victory.
Ronald Bridges Jr. (Durham, NC) led Lincoln with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, adding six rebounds and two assists. Draven Pilson (Winston-Salem, NC) provided 13 points off the bench, connecting on 3-of-6 from three-point range. Amadou Fall (Bronx, NY) contributed eight points on 4-of-5 shooting with three blocks, while Ginuwine Tropnas (Montreal, QC) recorded a double-double with seven points and 10 rebounds.
Turnovers proved costly for the Lions, who committed 27 compared to just eight for Shaw. The Bears converted those miscues into 35 points while outscoring Lincoln 17-0 in fast break points and 30-20 in the paint.
