Petersburg, Va. – Jan. 28, 2026 — The Lincoln University women's basketball team traveled to Petersburg, Virginia, to face Virginia State University in a battle of the true orange and blue. In a tightly contested matchup that came down to the final moments, the Lions narrowly fell 54–49. With the result, Lincoln moves to 3–18 on the season as the team looks to turn the corner heading into the final stretch of the year.
