OXFORD, Pa. – September 15, 2025 – The Lincoln University women's volleyball team hosted its 2025 home opener at Oxford High School on Monday night, dropping a 3-0 decision to Felician University by set scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-17.

The Lions (0-6) put together a balanced effort, led by Charly Manley (Upper Marlboro, MD/Frederick Douglass HS), Elise Carter (Smyrna, DE/Smyrna HS), and Ashley Fru (Brandywine, MD), who each tallied 4 kills. Manley also added 5 digs and 2 service aces, while Carter chipped in 2 blocks and 2 digs. Fru directed the offense with 11 assists and contributed across the board with 4 kills, 3 service aces, and 4 digs.

Audreynette Lydgate (Bowie, MD/Charles Herbert Flowers HS) was a force at the net with a team-high 5 blocks, while Donavyn Morris (Chester, PA) anchored the defense in the back row with 6 digs and a service ace. Khalia Jabbie (Portland ,OR) and Kaniece Wright (Bowie, MD) added 2 kills apiece to round out the Lions' attack.

Lincoln's strongest stretch came in the second set, when they battled to multiple ties and pushed Felician late before falling 25-20. The Lions recorded 9 kills in the frame, their most efficient offensive set of the night.

The Lions (0-6) return to action on Wednesday, September 17, with a non-conference road match at Millersville University. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Millersville, Pa.
