Lincoln University, PA - March 27th 2025 - The Lincoln University (PA.) Softball team battled hard but came up short in both games of their double headers against Delaware State University with a final score of 7-13 in game 1 and 4-5 in game 2.

Game 1

The Lincoln University (PA) softball team fought valiantly in a doubleheader against Delaware State University, showing heart and determination despite falling short in both games. In Game 1, Jordin Cathey (Long Beach, CA/Gahr High School) shined with three hits, including a powerful home run, driving in three runs. Cailyn Dove (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck Senior) complemented the effort with two hits, a home run of her own, and two RBI's. Despite their offensive sparks, Lincoln fell 7-13.

Game 2

In Game 2, Ashley Stringer (Coatesville, PA/Coatesville High School) led the charge with three hits and two RBI's, providing a steady presence at the plate. The game remained tight until the end, but Lincoln narrowly lost 4-5 in a hard-fought contest.

This Saturday the Softball team will be in action once again as they play Virginia State University at 1P.M. and 3 P.M. here on campus.
